For Boxing Day, here’s Simon & Garfunkle’s classic “The Boxer”:

The only reason this isn’t perfect is that no one has the pure upper tenor Art Garfunkel has. But right now it’s only a 360 hits. By the end of the month I bet it’s over a million.
Well, not so much. It’s 72° here in Austin right now. But this was running through my head, so I thought I would share.
Too bad it cuts off at the end. I prefer the guitar part on the studio version, but Art’s voice is quite lovely here.
Rereading this post made me go poking around the Internet, where I came across this vintage video of Simon & Garfunkel performing “Richard Corey” live in 1966:
Two- (and three- and four-) part harmony is sadly underutilized in music today…
