Humper Monkey’s Ghost Story has just about everything you could ask for in a haunted building story. Inexplicable occurrences, dead bodies, a Nazi past, and lots of general creepiness. Oh, and it’s theoretically true. It seems to have originally been posted on Something Awful.
Be forewarned that it’s really long; plan to set aside an hour or two if you want to read the whole thing, as it’s easily novella length.
And, if that weren’t enough, there seems to be more to the story here. It gets a bit less subtle.
I also hope Humper-Monkey gets a cut of this, and it’s not just somebody ripping him off.

My name is Carol Casa Ames. You featured my scary dust bunny costume in your post titled “Halloween Gallary: Scary Bunnies”. I just wanted to tell you I think that’s great! I am commenting under this post because after seeing your Scary Bunnies post I started reading your blog. When I was 8-10 years old (in the late 80’s)I was obsessed with the Jonesrown Massacre and would visit my local library to sit in a hidden alcove reading about it and studying the pictures. Small black and white pictures all in the center of the books, as they used to do. I never checked he books out of the library since everyone around me was already concerned about my odd demeanor. Anyway, I just wanted to think you for the wonderful blog.
